She is Puerto Rican with a Doctorate in Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Cultural Studies from the Ana G. Méndez University (UAGM), in Gurabo. Her undergraduate research is entitled: Traces and persistence of colonialism in the identity of Puerto Ricans between the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century: a theoretical perspective. Additionally, she holds a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from the Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico and a Master's degree in Art with a concentration in Product Design from the Domus Academy in Milan, Italy. Campos served as Program Director in the Department of Design and Architecture of the Academic Division of Engineering, Design and Architecture at UAGM, Gurabo.
As a product designer she has exhibited her pieces, including; Juggling, mirror and lamp, which was presented at the Proyecto Local gallery in Cupey, Puerto Rico and was selected as a finalist for the 5th Ibero-American Design Biennial at Matadero Madrid, ES. Her research titled 'Language Games' based on the exploration of the misinterpretation of language reflected in a collection of everyday objects was exhibited at the La Productora gallery located in Santurce, PR and her design proposal EL01, light object was exhibited at the Miramar Museum of Art and Design (MADMI).
She has written articles on various topics related to architecture, design and culture such as; Islaphobia in Puerto Rico (2018), The cinematography-exhibited on the Nono Maldonado catwalk; From the scene to the print (2021) and The construction of fear through the presence of Islaphobia in Puerto Rican proverbs, in Reverso magazine (2021).
