Dr. Anuchka Ramos-Ruiz is the Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs of the Universidad del Sagrado CorazónSince her appointment in 2021, she has led academic innovation with a humanistic vision.
In 2024, she was recognized as an Obama USA Leader Fellow and is a graduate of the Institute for Administrators in Catholic Higher Education at Boston College. In 2021, Caribbean Business highlighted her as one of the “40 Leaders Under 40” for her career of professional excellence. As a writer, she is the author of *No me quieras* (2013), *Claustrofobia* (2016), and *Autopsia* (2018), and in 2013 she received the New Voices Award from the Puerto Rico PEN Club. Since 2018, she has directed the Memoir Writing Workshop, which promotes research and the practice of autobiographical writing as a literary genre. She is also one of the editors of the book *Memoirs of Sila María Calderón*, the first female governor of Puerto Rico.
She holds a bachelor's degree in Justice Systems from Universidad del Sagrado Corazón, a master's degree in Editing and Study of Hispanic American Literary Texts from the University of Santiago de Compostela (Spain), a second master's degree in Hispanic Lexicography from the University of León and the School of Lexicography of the Royal Spanish Academy in Madrid, and a doctorate in Cultural and Literary Studies from the University of Santiago de Compostela.
