The construction of important infrastructures such as the Puerto Rico Coliseum, convention centers, parks and theaters has expanded the opportunities for the production of shows and events, making this market relevant to the development and economic success of the country.

La Universidad del Sagrado Corazón Corazón is a pioneer in the training of producers of public shows. By participating in the Event Production and Marketing program, you will develop the skills and competencies necessary to organize, manage and produce all types of activities. In addition, you will work with the creation of ideas, budget, financing, promotional strategy, and technical and legal aspects, among other components that promote new trends and the effective use of resources in the industry.

Curriculum

The Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Event Production and Marketing curriculum provides students with great experiences. The program has courses [LMT1] that integrate the Community Engagement Center, where students carry out projects for non-profit organizations. It also provides a practical experience with recognized production companies in Puerto Rico. The program has a very active student association in the development of curricular experiences.

Integration of professional certifications into the graduate program

Aware of new trends in event marketing, Sagrado The Meta company's professional certification in Social Media Marketing was integrated into the post-baccalaureate certificate, which you will take in conjunction with your classes through the Coursera platform. The professional certification consists of six asynchronous and practical courses through which you will learn to establish an online presence, create posts, increase followers, and manage social media accounts through which you will market the events you produce. You will also develop skills in creating and managing advertising campaigns on social media and learn to evaluate the results of your marketing actions. Upon successful completion of both programs, you will receive your degree diploma from Meta. Sagrado and the Meta certificate that accredits you as a Facebook and Coursera Digital Marketing Associate.

Duration and modality

The Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Event Production and Marketing consists of 18 credits to be completed in 3 quarters. All courses are offered remotely with synchronous interactions (virtual hybrid mode), which means that part of the experience is asynchronous through content and assignments through the Canvas educational platform, and the other part is synchronous through virtual meetings via ZOOM. The courses meet via videoconference at night (starting at 6:00 pm Puerto Rico time). Others are by arrangement and meet on previously agreed-upon days also via videoconference.
