The Combined Program in Digital Marketing (CMRD) is aimed at educating students in the fundamentals of marketing in order to develop the capacity for critical analysis, interpretation of behaviors, trends and changes in markets through research, with the aim of detecting opportunities for the promotion of goods and services from an ethical and sustainable perspective. In addition, it seeks to familiarize and master computerized systems.

In the final year, through the application of concepts, students will develop their expertise in the areas of marketing campaign management and advertising on social networks. They will also work with other digital promotion mechanisms such as applications, content marketing, storytelling, emails and SEO, among others.

Duration and modality

The combined degree in marketing offers 138 credits to be completed over a five-year period (four years of semester-based instruction in on-campus (P), hybrid (H), and hybrid virtual (HV) formats for undergraduate courses and one year of quarterly instruction in hybrid virtual (HV) format for graduate courses). The undergraduate program credits (levels 100-400) are distributed among 39 general education course credits, 24 institutional requirement credits, 45 concentration course credits, and 18 specialty course credits for the master's degree in digital marketing (levels 600 and 700).

Recognizing the changes that are occurring in the environment and that are projected to continue impacting the market, it can be recognized that in addition to the fundamentals of marketing1, which a professional in this discipline must master, today more than ever, technology plays a significant role in most organizations. Graduates of this program will have the ability to develop skills that allow them to implement strategies that are aligned with global trends in the marketing industry 7 and the use of technology in the practice of digital marketing.
