The School of General Education is where you begin your academic journey.

You begin to develop your personal and professional objectives with the Leadership courses:

Transition process to university life (first year)
Deepening your professional skills and abilities (third year)
Transition to Graduate Life with an emphasis on your entry into the professional labor market or the continuation of studies in graduate programs (fourth year)

You will develop a significant project through the Entrepreneurship courses.

You will learn core subjects tailored to developing five skills that are vital to your personal and professional success:

Communication: Spanish and English communication courses
Critical questioning: Courses that link humanities, history, social sciences, and philosophy
Innovation and entrepreneurship: Courses that link social sciences, political sciences, and topics related to the various organizations of a society
Research and exploration: Courses that explain the research process and culminate in a research project
Ethics and Social Justice: Courses that connect ethical principles, human rights, and theological aspects.

Support areas

Language Laboratory

The Language Laboratory, part of the General Education Unit, supports developing and enhancing oral and written communication skills in both Spanish and English. It is connected to general communication courses and provides services to all Sagrado students.

Collaborative Innovation Center, NEEUKO

The Collaborative Innovation Center, NEEUKO, is associated with the General Education Unit and connected to the Entrepreneurship component. This interdisciplinary workspace focuses on research, education, design, and art. It comprises a design laboratory, a manufacturing laboratory (FabLab), and the community program Nuestro Barrio. Through these three units, the center offers services in ideation, validation, research, product and service development, and marketing.
