Educating is more than being an expert in a subject, working in the area of ​​Education involves developing enriching learning experiences for your students through innovative practices. Therefore, the Bachelor of Arts in Education will prepare you in all areas related to the field of education and includes the necessary requirements to obtain the teaching certification granted by the Department of Education of Puerto Rico. In addition, you can explore other job options within the educational field. Sagrado you lead, undertake and research from Education.

You have two options:

#1 Bachelor of Education in one of these disciplines:
  • Biology: secondary level
  • Chemistry: secondary level
  • Physical education: elementary level / secondary level
  • Visual Arts: K-12 Level
  • Dance: K-12 level
  • Music: K-12 level
  • Theater: K-12 level 

There are 18 concentration credits plus a methodology course and teaching practice.

#2 Minor Concentration and Courses for Licensure
  • From your program of study, complete 30 credits, 10 courses, in the foundations of education through a minor using the exploratory courses provided by your bachelor's degree.

Duration and modality

The Bachelor of Education consists of 120 credits to be completed in 4 years. Courses and workshops are offered in person.
