The Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design develops professionals with the skills and competencies necessary to operate in the design and production industry within digital ecosystems.

Through active learning and design thinking, entrepreneurship, technology and user-centered creation are intertwined.

Curriculum

The program trains students to become creative, critical designers with the ability to research, organize and plan, understand market needs, visually communicate data and information, and find creative and innovative solutions to solve design problems. The program emphasizes the tools necessary for the graduate, part artist and part storyteller, to understand themselves as part of a constantly evolving context marked by the digitalization of society and technological advancement.

Duration and Modality

The Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design consists of 120 credits to be completed in 4 years. Courses and workshops are offered in person.

Skills Acquired

Apply technical skills in contemporary digital media to create graphic design products through different techniques and applications.
Execute the logistics, marketing and communication strategies necessary for graphic design products to reach their target market.
Understand and apply the innovation and entrepreneurship process through new designs, products and projects that respond to user needs.
Integrates best artistic, aesthetic and design practices for decision-making throughout the cycle of creation, production and design thinking.
Uses history, cultural context and research to generate innovation in its environment and in digital ecosystems.
It integrates an interdisciplinary approach and analysis of trends for graphic design and the creation of new products.
He is innovative, exercises leadership and is capable of generating ideas that can be converted into opportunities and self-management.
Recognizes and is receptive to different innovative forms of expression, social, economic and cultural environments
Demonstrates the ability to visualize, synthesize and implement concepts using various digital media, platforms and techniques.
Demonstrates knowledge of the fundamentals and principles of design in his or her different creations.
