John Olmo Soto is a professor in the Department of Natural Sciences. His areas of specialty are general, organic, inorganic and analytical chemistry; environmental chemistry, instrumental chemical analysis, and college algebra. Within his experience in the academic and scientific community, his participation in 11 seminars of the ‘Faculty Resource Network’ consortium of New York University and his collaboration in projects related to STEMmED I and STEMmED II can be highlighted. In addition, he has published articles in El Nuevo Día related to science fair projects for high school students. He has a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, and a master’s and doctorate in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus.
