Dr. Juan Antonio Acevedo Nieves is a native of the town of Quebradillas. He holds a Certificate Bioethics professional, Medical Sciences Campus, UPR (2018). She has researched the role of ethics in professions at the Center for Applied Ethics, University of Deusto, Spain (2014). He holds a PhD in philosophy from the Graduate Theological Foundation, Indiana (2002). He is the author From the book Overpopulation: Poverty or Wealth of Puerto Rico?, the moral stance of Friar Martín J. Berntsen, OP (2010). He is co-author of the book Monsignor Parrilla, Prophet of Puerto Rico (2004). He has presented various conferences and published several articles in the newspapers El Visitante, Clarity and in the magazine Prisma of the Interamerican University, Arecibo Campus. Currently He is a Professor of General Education
