Camelia Fernández holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Puerto Rico and a Bachelor's degree in Public Communication from American University, Washington, DC. She has more than 20 years of experience in private practice, public service and the corporate field. She was Associate Director of Legal Affairs at Merck, Sharp & Dohme, with responsibility for Puerto Rico and Latin America. Previously, she served as Assistant Attorney General of the Department of Justice and was part of the Del Toro & Santana Law Firm. She holds a Certification in Alternative Dispute Resolution from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico School of Law.
