Lucía Orsanic has a Doctor of Letters from the Argentine Catholic University. He has a Master’s Degree in Medieval Hispanic Studies from the Autonomous University of Madrid, where he obtained a Scholarship funded by the Social Student Fund of the Autonomous University of Madrid. She was a scholarship recipient from the Carolina Foundation at the School of Hispanic Lexicography of the Royal Spanish Academy, in Madrid. She has been an invited speaker in various forums, including the Puerto Rican Humanities Foundation and the Federico de Onís Seminar, of the Faculty of Hispanic Studies of the University of Puerto Rico. He has participated in national and international conferences and published various academic articles in specialized magazines. She is the author of the book The Serpent Woman in the Castilian books of chivalry. Form and archetype of the feminine monstrosity (Madrid, La Ergástula, 2014); A story for Irupé: The lion without a mane (Buenos Aires, Casa de Gatos, 2016) and editor of The one who gave birth to you. Puerto Rican anthology of birth stories (Puerto Rico, Ediciones del Flamboyán, 2022). In the local press, she has written about feminist motherhood for spaces such as 80grados and TodosPR . She is co-founder and editor at Ediciones del Flamboyán (San Juan, Puerto Rico).
