The Fashion Design and Management Program develops cutting-edge professionals who implement the best practices of ethical and sustainable fashion.

At the same time, students are provided with design skills based on a critical reflection on the artistic, cultural and functional value of fashion. Business creativity is developed by training students in the skills necessary to generate solutions to the challenges and changes experienced by the sector through design.

Curriculum

The Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Design and Management curriculum prepares students to make a journey from illustration, design and clothing construction to production management and sales. Students have laboratory spaces to work on practical experiences and interactions in the fashion field.

Duration and Modality

The Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Design and Management consists of 120 credits to be completed in 4 years. Courses and workshops are offered in person.

Know and apply the aspects of strategic planning and development of companies and projects within the fashion system

Master the creative and technical skills for creating fashion products through materials and applications

Execute the logistics, marketing and communication strategies necessary for fashion products to reach their target market

Understands the entrepreneurial process and executes it through new designs, products and projects

Uses best management practices for decision making throughout the fashion production and distribution cycle

Integrates best practices and international standards of sustainability, ethics and fair trade into its projects

Uses history, cultural context and research to generate innovation in their environment

Integrates an interdisciplinary approach and trend analysis for the design of new products

Demonstrate practical experiences that contribute to the development of the local and/or international fashion ecosystem
