Dr. Negrón completed her Ph.D. in Philosophy with a specialization in Psychology from the University of Puerto Rico at Río Piedras, where she focused her research on the prevention of juvenile delinquency. She holds a Master's degree in Academic-Investigative Psychology and obtained her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the same institution. She is licensed by the Board of Examiners of Psychologists of Puerto Rico. Her work focuses on topics related to the prevention and rehabilitation of young offenders, human learning, university teaching, research techniques and methods, as well as program evaluation. In addition, she is a specialist in ethics in research with human subjects. She has published scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals and has presented her research at various national and international congresses, conventions, and symposiums.
