Universidad del Sagrado Corazón is authorized by the Board of Postsecondary Institutions (formerly the Puerto Rico Education Council) to operate as a higher education institution in Puerto Rico. Sagrado is also accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE).
The U.S. Department of Education requires all colleges and universities to provide a procedure to address the following concerns:
Universidad del Sagrado Corazón provides several mechanisms for compliance and filing complaints, concerns, or problems related to the University's programs, activities, and operations. It encourages students, faculty, and staff to use these mechanisms and communicate with the appropriate academic or administrative unit of Sagrado if they have a complaint, concern, or problem. In addition to these internal mechanisms, the Board of Postsecondary Institutions and the Middle States Commission on Higher Education also have processes for filing complaints, concerns, or problems.

Students and community members may submit complaints, concerns or issues about Sagrado and other post-secondary education institutions operating in Puerto Rico before the Board of Post-Secondary Institutions using the electronic mechanism that appears on its website: http://www.edicion.pr.gov/agencias/cepr/inicio/Pages/querellas.aspx
Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE)
The Middle States Commission on Higher Education will only consider complaints that "are related to an accreditation action taken by MSCHE, or that are related to the quality of an institution or its academic programs" and provides information about the scope of concerns it will address and the specific requirements for filing a complaint on its website (https://www.msche.org/complaints/).
Universidad del Sagrado Corazón participates in the State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement (SARA) initiatives. Any distance student interested in filing a complaint, claim, concern, or problem must follow the institutional processes as established in the Student RegulationsYou can also submit your complaint by logging into the student portal my.sagrado.edu. Once you have entered with your username and password, access the Form of AllegationsIf you are not satisfied with the resolution of your situation, you can submit it to the licensing agency.
