Professional License Disclosure
In accordance with state and federal regulations, Universidad del Sagrado Corazón is required to provide the following information to prospective students considering enrolling in an academic program leading to professional licensing.
Universidad del Sagrado Corazón is accredited by the Middle State Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) . The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Program is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) . The program includes 555 teaching hours and 1,110 clinical hours. Upon completion of the BSN program, a student can apply for the license in Puerto Rico. Since the laws that regulate the profession in each jurisdiction are different and can change at any time, it is extremely important that students seek information from the state where they are interested in licensing for any additional requirements.

All 50 states in the United States and the District of Columbia use the same licensing exam, the NCLEX-RN, and all states have the same standard for passing. The exam is offered by computer using adapted software that in turn scores the candidate's performance.
