Engineer Sandra Pedraza holds a Master of Science degree in Metallurgical Engineering and another in Mechanical Engineering. During her 15-year career promoting innovation and entrepreneurship in Puerto Rico, she directed the Startup.pr program of the Ana G. Méndez University Technology Accelerator. In addition, she directed the Office of Innovation and Entrepreneurship of said institution with the purpose of creating strategies to promote entrepreneurship in all academic programs of the University. Among the projects she has been in charge of are: the Hispanic Entrepreneurial Program for Innovation (HEPI) and the High School Enterprise in Puerto Rico, in association with Michigan Tech University, subsidized by the National Science Foundation (NSF). Engineer Pedraza has worked on commercialization initiatives in Puerto Rico such as the Xcelerator Network led by the University of Kentucky and the Puerto Rico Science, Technology and Research Trust. She was part of the Pathways for Innovation program of Venturewell, an organization that promotes entrepreneurship in STEM disciplines, where she has served as a project evaluator.

En Sagrado She was Academic Leader of the Entrepreneurship competition and is the director of two projects subsidized by the Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA) under the Capital Readiness Program (the only one awarded in Puerto Rico) and the Minority Colleges and Universities Program.
