Dr. Rodríguez Pérez completed her doctoral degree in Health Sciences at the University of Malaga, Spain, with a research titled “Safety Assessment in the Medication Administration Process Using an Automated Dispensing System.” She also holds a Master’s Degree in Nursing from the Medical Sciences Campus of the University of Puerto Rico (UPR), with a specialization in medical and surgical nursing for adults and the elderly. At the Graduate School of Public Health of this same institution, she completed a certificate in Bioethics. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the UPR in Humacao.
She has over 20 years of experience as a registered nurse in the areas of nursing supervision and administration of training and development programs for healthcare personnel at all levels.
