Alejandro Toledo Casanova is an associate professor at the University Sagrado Corazón His area of ​​expertise is ethical reflection. He is a doctoral candidate in philosophy at the University of Memphis (UoM) with a dissertation project titled “Horrorism: A Critical Expansion on Adriana Cavarero's Ontological Violence.” He also holds a master's degree in philosophy from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus (UPRRP), having completed the thesis “Domestic Warfare: Violent Happiness in the Work of Thomas Hobbes,” and a bachelor's degree in political science from the same institution. 

Her research topics include ethics, violence, French feminism, Black feminism in the southern United States, and decoloniality, and she is a co-founder of Philosophy for Children Puerto Rico.
