SECURITY ALERT
The Jeanne Clery Act requires all higher education institutions participating in federal financial aid programs to report to the university community any criminal incidents that occur in or on campus property.
In compliance with this regulation, we hereby notify you that, in the early hours of yesterday, Sunday, August 10, 2025, at approximately 1:13 a.m., an individual jumped the fence of the Viñas del Mar Residence, located on Bouret Street and serving as a student residence.
No students were injured. However, as a precautionary measure, security in the area will be reinforced.
The Office of Integrated Security and Risk Management is addressing the situation alongside the Puerto Rico Police. Our commitment is to maintain a safe environment and provide safety guidance to students, employees, residents, and visitors.
