SECURITY ALERT
The Jeanne Clery Act requires all higher education institutions participating in federal financial aid programs to report to the university community any criminal incidents that occur in or on campus property.
In compliance with these regulations, we hereby notify you that, in the early morning of December 6, 2025, there was a break-in at the property located at 1853 Ponce de León Avenue, where the offices of Proyecto Nuestro Barrio are located. At the time of the incident, there were no employees, students, or visitors present.
As a preventative measure, surveillance in the area will be reinforced.
The Office of Integrated Security and Risk Management is addressing the situation alongside the Puerto Rico Police. Our commitment is to maintain a safe environment and provide safety guidance to students, employees, residents, and visitors.
