Alexandra Pagán Vélez participated in the Dominican Republic International Book Fair in 2019 and 2022, the International Book Fair in Cuba in 2018, the Guadalajara International Book Fair in 2018 and the Puerto Rico Word Festival in 2014 and 2017. Her published books are: Another duel (graphic poetry collection, 2022), horror-Real (2016, 2021), About Alzheimer's and other demons (2014), Sunday stories (2014), Bitter (2014; author's edition, 2019) and When I was a child I spoke like a girl (2014). His research “Appropriation and parody of media discourse in three contemporary Puerto Rican poets…” received the award for the best doctoral thesis in Puerto Rican Literature granted by the Puerto Rican Academy of Language in 2013.
