Albert Rodriguez Scholarship

La Albert Rodriguez Scholarship The Raymond Gerena Foundation grant will benefit students of study programs related to the fields of Marketing, Audiovisual and Film Production, Event Production, Theater, Art and Entertainment Business, and students of the Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Event Production and Marketing. Candidates must be in their 2nd, 3rd or 4th year of their baccalaureate or their first quarter of the Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Event Production and Marketing.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Be in your third or fourth year of high school in Marketing, Audiovisual and Film Production, Event Production, Theater or in your first quarter of the Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Event Production and Marketing
  • Complete the FAFSA application for the corresponding year
  • Minimum cumulative academic average of 3.30
  • You must not have a disciplinary record at the University
  • Pass 100% of the credits enrolled in each academic term

Dr. Milton Martinez Scholarship/Class of 1940 Central High School

Students from high school

The Dr. Milton Martinez/Class of 1940 Central High School Scholarship provides financial aid to outstanding visual arts students in high school, preferably from the Central School of Visual Arts (Central High). Selected students will receive $1,000, divided into two installments of $500 per academic semester.

Eligibility Requirements

  • High school GPA of 3.5 or higher.
  • An admission rate of 3,300 or more.
  • Complete the Federal Department of Education's Free Application for Student Aid (FAFSA) to validate financial need.
  • Letter of recommendation from a teacher in your field demonstrating how you have excelled in your specialty.
  • The student must present his/her portfolio during the interview.

The scholarship grants the amount of $2,000, divided into two installments of $1,000.00 per academic semester for tuition, fees or materials.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Complete the FAFSA application for the corresponding year
  • Have a cumulative grade point average of 3.30 or higher
  • Be enrolled in a minimum of 14 credits in accordance with your study plan
  • Pass 100% of the credits enrolled in each academic term
  • Have financial need
  • You must not have a disciplinary record at the University
