Scholarships for students enrolled in a regular program to obtain their first baccalaureate
José Jaime Pierluisi Scholarship
Students coming from high school and who are going to take their second academic year in Sagrado
The José Jaime Pierluisi Scholarship provides financial assistance to undergraduate students in Business Administration programs, with a vision of becoming leaders in their community and contributing to the economic development of Puerto Rico in the future. The student must present a profile of community service and active participation in his/her university and/or professional life. Interested students must demonstrate that they possess the characteristics of social commitment that stood out in the life of José Jaime Pierluisi. The student must maintain a GPA of 3.50 or higher, enroll in 14 credits or more, pass 100% of the credits enrolled in each academic semester and meet the requirements of the Scholarship Program. Note: This scholarship supports the student until the completion of his/her degree, subject to renewal and compliance with the established requirements.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Be enrolled in 14 credits or more.
- Have a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher as of May of your first year of study at Sagrado.
- Complete the Federal Department of Education's Free Application for Student Aid (FAFSA) to validate financial need.
- Be a citizen of the United States of America or have permanent residence issued by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Service.
- Not having a disciplinary record at the University.
Novus Inc. Scholarship and Internship Program
Students in their third or fourth year of high school
The Novus Inc. Scholarship and Internship Program will award a scholarship to three (3) students in programs of study related to the fields of business administration and advertising who are in their 3rd or 4th year of high school. Scholarship recipients will receive $1,500 per year, divided into $750 per semester.
Additionally, students will participate in a paid internship where they will complete 250-300 hours during one academic semester. Selected students will support special projects within Novus, Inc. in the areas of Purchasing, Marketing and Finance.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Be in your third or fourth year of high school in Business Administration, Accounting and/or Advertising
- Demonstrate financial need under the criteria of the Federal Department of Education
- Minimum cumulative academic average of 3.30
- Complete the application form with the required documentation within the time established for this purpose.
- Participate in the established interview process
- Complete the Federal Department of Education's Free Application for Student Aid (FAFSA) to validate financial need.
