Professor Carlos A. Muñiz Osorio, Ed. D., is a native of the coastal town of Dorado, Puerto Rico. He has a 26-year career in educational processes at various levels, from the creation, adaptation and coordination of workshops and activities to the delivery of courses, research, educational evaluations and formal and informal educational experiences, at national and international levels. His academic training includes a Bachelor's Degree in Biology Education and a Master's Degree and Doctorate with a concentration in Curriculum and Teaching, with a specialty in Biology, from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus. Within his professional experience, he has served as an educational consultant for various learning communities in the area of science, research and educational evaluation, as well as in the design of teaching resources. Her research areas are Ecopedagogy, Education for Peace, Ecology and Peace, and the Earth Charter and the Sustainable Development Goals.
