Assistant Professor
She holds a PhD in Latin American Literature from the University of Pittsburgh, where she also completed a Master's degree in Literature and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology with Gender Studies. Her work intersects the fields of literature, popular music, history, and urban planning with an emphasis on Puerto Rican and Caribbean culture. She has taught humanities, Spanish, and research courses both in Puerto Rico and the United States, and has participated in international conferences and cultural projects. Her training and vocation strengthen our critical and transformative educational mission.
