Our collaborative agreement with Ponce Health University and its School of Medicine provides an articulated transfer tied to our Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences. High school students who meet the required requirements and students at the bachelor's level are eligible to apply for this program. Sagrado that they have a minimum of 15 approved credits and a GPA of 3.50. Students within this curriculum will apply for admission to the Ponce Health University School of Medicine after having completed the 98 credits required in the School of Health and Sciences. If they meet the admission requirements for the Medicine program, Students will begin their first year in the School of Medicine and will be awarded their Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences degree after completing their first semester in medicine. Students who are within this curriculum and are not admitted to the School of Medicine will be automatically recommended for admission to the Master of Science in Medical Sciences if they meet the established requirements.
Admission requirements:
High School Students:
- Average 3.50 or more
- Having completed the following courses in high school: biology, chemistry, physics and three years of mathematics.
- Having obtained a score of 600 on the mathematics section of the College Board.
Students already admitted:
- Have completed a minimum of 15 credits and have a GPA of 3.50 or higher.
Requirements during your high school studies Sagrado:
- Complete 98 credits prior to applying for admission to Medical School.
- Get 496 or higher on the MCAT
- Have a GPA of no less than 3.40 in your science courses and a cumulative GPA of no less than 3.50.
