Our collaborative agreements with Ponce Health Sciences University (PHSU) provide students with an articulated transfer tied to our Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences program. Those eligible to apply for this program are:
- High school students who meet the required requirements.
- Students at the high school level in Sagrado who have a maximum of 15 approved credits and a GPA of 3.50.
Students enrolled in this program will apply for admission to their chosen program at Ponce Health Sciences University after completing the required 98 credits at the School of Health and Sciences.
The available programs are:
- Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences and Doctor of Medicine (MD)
- Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences and Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD)
If they meet the admission requirements for the Medicine or Dental Medicine program, students will begin their first year at PHSU and will be awarded their Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences after completing their first semester.
Students who are not admitted to this program will be automatically recommended for admission to the Master of Science in Medical Sciences if they meet the established requirements.

Requirements:
- High School Students (transfer students do not qualify).
- Average 3.50 or more.
- Having completed the following courses in high school: biology, chemistry, physics and three years of mathematics.
Having obtained a score of 600 on the mathematics section of the College Board. - Students considered for entry into the articulated transfer program must be interviewed by an institutional committee in Sagrado.
- Complete 98 credits prior to applying for admission to PHSU.
- Score 496 or higher on the MCAT for the MD degree and 15+ on the DAT for the DMD degree.
- Have a minimum academic grade point average of 3.40 in science courses and a minimum cumulative academic grade point average of 3.50.
