Disclosure of Professional Licenses
(“Professional Licensure Disclosure”)
In accordance with state and federal regulations, the Universidad del Sagrado Corazón Corazón is required to provide the following information to prospective students considering enrolling in an academic program leading to professional licensure.
La Universidad del Sagrado Corazón Heart is accredited by the Middle State Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE)The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Program is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE)The program includes 555 didactic hours and 1,110 clinical hours. Upon completion of the BSN program, a student may apply for licensure in Puerto Rico. Since the laws regulating the profession in each jurisdiction are different and may change at any time, it is extremely important that students seek information from the state where they are interested in licensure for any additional requirements.

All 50 states and the District of Columbia use the same licensing exam, the NCLEX-RN, and all states have the same passing standard. The exam is administered via computer using customized software that then grades the candidate's performance.
