The Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing and Literature prepares students with the knowledge and skills necessary to critically understand the process of literary creation and begin professional writing in fiction and nonfiction genres (short story, novel, poetry, memoir, and screenplay).
Curriculum
The curriculum integrates the study of literature from different traditions written or translated into Spanish. In turn, through various workshops, students explore the structure and technical elements of different genres in order to develop their own original texts. The exploration of the relationship between creative writing and literature with related disciplines such as journalism and digital narratives is encouraged.
