The Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing and Literature prepares the student with the knowledge and skills necessary to critically understand the literary creation process and to begin professional writing in fiction and non-fiction genres (short story, novel, poetry, memoir and screenplay).
Curriculum
The curriculum integrates the study of literature from diverse traditions, both written and translated into Spanish. Through various workshops, students explore the structure and technical elements of different genres in order to develop their own original texts. The program also encourages the exploration of the relationship between creative writing and literature, as well as related disciplines such as journalism and digital storytelling.
