Kisha Tikina Burgos Sierra is an instructor at the Ferré Rangel School of Communication. A filmmaker, actress, director, and playwright, she graduated from the University of Puerto Rico with a concentration in Drama and completed postgraduate studies in the Sanford Meisner acting technique at the Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University. She earned an MFA in Dramatic Writing from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University (NYU).

She has written series for YouTube, Fox, and Netflix, including Nicky Jam: El Ganador, and was head writer, director, and showrunner for BRAVAS (YouTube Originals). She is a screenwriter, producer, and actress for the films Before the Rooster Crows (2016) and Under My Nails (2011), and was one of the screenwriters for the feature film This Island (2025), which won an award at the Tribeca Film Festival.

Her plays include Last Night I Dreamed You Were Eating Me, Nivea of ​​Enchantment, Cage, Yours, and The Memory of Elephants, as well as the book Crudo 69: Selected Pieces from a Year of Wild Writing, published by Emerging Education Press. She has also taught courses at CUNY and the University of Puerto Rico.
