Dr. Karla Ayala Lebrón obtained her doctorate in Curriculum, Teaching and Learning Environments, specializing in Second Language Acquisition, at Ana G. Méndez University.

With over 14 years of experience teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) and 4 years in leadership roles in higher education, Dr. Ayala has specialized in curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation, as well as educational project management and the integration of innovative language learning strategies. She is bilingual in English and Spanish, with a strong track record in effective communication, problem-solving, and strategic planning.

Her academic work is geared towards creating inclusive environments that foster educational excellence and the holistic development of students. Furthermore, she has led initiatives that connect learning with the current needs of higher education, promoting the linguistic and cultural competencies necessary in a globalized world.
