Professor Vélez Rodríguez holds a PhD in Philosophy with a specialty in Industrial Organizational Psychology and a Master of Arts with a specialization in Industrial Organizational Psychology, both obtained from the University of Puerto Rico. In addition, she has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Puerto Rico at Mayagüez. In her private practice, she offers individual and group counseling sessions and services in the area of mobbing, forensic psychological evaluations, and general counseling on labor issues. She is the author of the book Mobbing: An attack on dignity. Are they harassing you? She has also published in local and international magazines.
