Assistant Professor

Dr. Naida García Crespo has a distinguished career as an educator and researcher. She holds a PhD in English and Film Studies from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, a Master's degree in Public Policy from The George Washington University, and a Bachelor's degree in English Literature from the University of Puerto Rico.

Her teaching experience includes institutions such as the United States Naval Academy, with a focus on analytical writing, cultural studies, and curricular diversity. Her scholarly output, published internationally, addresses the topics of Caribbean cinema, cultural representation, and visual history. She contributes to Sagrado an interdisciplinary perspective focused on competency-based learning and student success.
