Gabriel Paizy holds a PhD in Latin American, Caribbean and Puerto Rican History, a degree he completed at the Center for Advanced Studies of Puerto Rico and the Caribbean. He also holds a Master's degree in Communication with a concentration in Public Relations from the Universidad del Sagrado Corazón Heart. As part of his professional career, he held various teaching positions at different universities in Puerto Rico and other administrative positions related to the field of communication. He is the creator of “En Buen Español”, a famous movement that opened the doors to important local radio and television programs to discuss the correct use of our native language. Due to his training, professional experience and passion for the art of communication, he was dean of the Ferré Rangel School of Communication for seven years.
