Rolando López Rivera holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Puerto Rico and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Florida State University. He has chaired the College of Certified Public Accountants of Puerto Rico and its Public Policy Affairs Committee. He also chaired the Tax Committee of the Chamber of Commerce of Puerto Rico. He was a partner at the international firm KPMG and in charge of the auditing areas. Professor López is a renowned lecturer on tax issues.
