Vanessa Carballido Clerch, JD


Vanessa Carballido Clerch is an attorney with a Master's degree in Intellectual Property from the Cardozo School of Law in New York. Vanessa has more than 10 years of experience in the legal field, having worked as an associate in the litigation department of the McConnell Valdés and O'Neill & Borges law firms, and as a law clerk for Judges Juan M. Pérez-Giménez and Silvia Carreño-Coll in the federal court for the District of Puerto Rico. She has been a professor at the University of Puerto Rico School of Law and a lecturer on topics of Intellectual Property, Privacy, Fashion Design Law, and Protection of Works of Art.

Vanessa is licensed to practice law in Puerto Rico and New York and holds the CIPP/US Certification granted by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). Vanessa is co-director of the Puerto Rico chapter of the IAPP.
